Rainy Working Day

This is it. My first rainy day in my work. I’ve been looking forward for this day because I used to love this season but now. I hate it…

REASONS:
It’s hard to dry clothes especially jeans
Shoes will get dirty
Things will get moist
Gadgets will get moist
Bags will get moist
Possibility of brown out
Broken umbrellas
and many other things…

and wait… there’s another.
NO INTERNET CONNECTION. lol

What if, there’s a brownout and you still have to wash a dress you’ll gonna wear tomorrow, you put yourself in a big dilemma. Anyways, that would be a problem for someone who’s fond of procrastination like me…

Living independently, you have no choice but to be alert and prepared. Learn from natural life misfortunes and most of all, learn from mistakes.

Lots of you will sure sympathize with me with this. Rainy days… A favorite period for elementary and high school students, little rain would mean no classes. Time for soaking yourself in the rain with your playmates, to wander around and search for frogs (others). Frogs, since that was a common thing I used to see. But… things starts to change with college until the time you’ll start working.

No matter how rainy it is, you still have to go to work. Can you imagine that? Going to work and finding yourself stuck in the sidewalks waiting for a jeep to pass by and wondering whether you’ll ever find one.

My understanding regarding blackout and brownout is that they differ in span of time of power loss. Brown out is more of reduction of voltage. I still can’t get the picture though.

A black out is where power to a device (usually from the electrical grid) completely turns off. In other words, there is no power available at all. A brown out is where there is still power available, but the voltage of that power is out of spec, usually low voltage. (rugatu.com)

Black out = Normal light bulbs go black, no power at all.
Brown out = Normal light bulbs go brown, they still glow but dimly. You still have power but at a lower voltage. (rugatu.com)
