Jergens Soothing Aloe Lotion Review

Among the available variants of Jergens in sample room, I chose this lotion because of the word “soothing” and “aloe” from the bottle. I also presume it to be the safest pick and hopefully not their heaviest product.

Whenever a balikbayan box arrives with a Jergens pasalubong in it, I let the other family member use them and just buy a different brand for myself. I did use their lotion naman during those early teen days where my skin started to demand some hydration. I only stopped because the heaviness becomes apparent in my skin and it stresses the hairs in my arms.

Movie Review | Feng Shui 2

It was hard to choose among the available Tagalog movies in cinema. The showing of local-only films is something I’m not very well aware. I didn’t know when it started. It only left me a feeling of “Watching Cinema will never be that fulfilling anymore”. Don’t get me wrong, it’s just that poor quality is something I cannot often tolerate.

Bf chose Praybeyt Benjamin while I chose Feng Shui. It’s like choosing between a horror film and any Tagalog movie that doesn’t impart any valuable life lesson to the viewers.

2015 Resolution

It's hard to catch the perfect mood in writing personal posts. It comes to me during short immersed moments and when I finally want to gather all of it, it becomes distant to me like an already missed part of the past . I can no longer summon it.

Still, for the year 2015:

Love Myself
The need to love myself more. I want to gain more happiness inside because it will always starts here. The more I have, the more I can give.

Church | The Urge to Go
I want to bring myself closer to Him.

I want to pray for this special person I have in mind. For me, for him and for us. To become stronger... To be supportive with each other and to always find the light.

Patient Sisterly Love
To at least be a good sister to her. To still find time and not deny her the other privileges and happy experiences she could have while she's young. To care for here just like how a real and responsible sister should be and understand her through the eyes of someone who's been there.

Book Review | We'll Meet Again by Mary Higgins Clark

My college niece let me borrow this. She said it was one of her favorite including the other 2 of Mary Higgins Clark's book she gave.

I'm not really into suspense books but I'm open for possibility of liking other things. I have read similar books before just because a friend or an Aunt handed it me. And I really like some of them. I came to realize that there are good books and there are also poorly written books. I just hope that I wont often encounter the latter as it can turn me off from reading books.

I like how this book started compared to he book The Lost Symbol of Dan Brown. It's simple and begins without paligoy ligoy. It's quite thick but the end twist seems like a rush one. It is not too horrifying compared to the past suspense books I've read. Despite that, I will still recommend this for kids as it is engaging and very easy to read. It only requires little help from dictionary.

It took me short breaks when reading this but I finished it in a span of 1 whole day and 1 night.

Review | Cetaphil Daylong SPF 50 Face and Body Gel

If you don't want to experience sunburn, use a lotion with SPF (sun protection factor). Don't cook yourself. Go to a shade once in a while, cool yourself and reapply sunscreen. I still don't prefer a product with SPF for everyday lotion considering the load of synthetic chemicals it has.

But yes, I will still buy a lotion with SPF for protection. I still realize the need of it during occasions where extreme exposure to sunlight is inevitable.

This face and body gel feels more like a cream than a gel. It looks yellowish and runny. Once applied in the face, it leaves it looking shiny and almost greasy. Once you pat your face with powder, there isn't any issue of oiliness and it's even comfortable for the rest of the day.
