Years after my first failed attempt, I finally purchase from an online store again. The reason why I chose Shopee is because their products are way cheaper than Lazada, there's a lot to choose from and I can avail free shipping fee with a minimum purchase of P500. In this 4 watches, I really only wanted the white analog watch and the pink digital watch for my sister, the rest is picked to reach P500.

The complicated website design of Shopee makes it hard to determine whether the parcel is being sold by a seller abroad. Good thing is you don’t have to personally deal with customs through Shopee. It takes longer to arrive but it’s worth the wait considering the low price. My order took 21 days to arrive. Payment method is cash on delivery.
To avail the free shipping fee promo, I bought 4 watches. It happened that the watches from this specific seller (watchstories.ph) are pricier compared when you buy cheap watches already available in stalls. It’s almost 40% more expensive but tolerable considering the convenience and wider choices. You can also contact the seller in Shopee to learn more about their products.
The items are received in good condition. Instead of a bubble wrap, the parcel is secured well in a plastic filled with thick air. Each watch is wrapped individually with plain cellophane. The 2 digital watches contain instruction. The 3 watches claim to be water resistant though I doubt it and don't want to attempt to test it at all.
Tips to Remember:
• Lazada offers a faster delivery for products shipped from abroad but on a higher price.
• Always check the specifications of watches to help you visualize how it could look. Don’t buy if it doesn’t have a detailed description.
• Shopee offers the lowest price and more unique selection than Lazada.
Stylish Analog White Leather Watch
This is my personal favorite among the 4 watches. It is made of faux leather which makes it easier to clean since it doesn't retain moisture than real leather. It's a vegan alternative with an almost same surface feel and appearance to a genuine leather. It is less susceptible to color fading when exposed to sunlight. It can be cleaned using harsher chemicals too.
This watch has a smooth strap even if I personally prefer a textured strap. The battery is working. Even if I prefer a plain numbered watch, I still bought this because some of the numbers are in words and it looks cute and chick. It is part of a couple watch but you can buy individually. The size is bigger for male and the pair is also available in black.

LED Digital Watch
This is the cheapest and ugliest at first glance among the 4 watches. One culprit of its unattractiveness is the way it was wrapped. As days passed, I got used to it and understood that it is what you get from its price. It doesn’t look bad at all but only looks good for outdoor activities.
The type of material used is silicone with a very rubbery texture that seems to attract dust. The color of the LED light is red. It is easy to configure and understand despite the lack of instruction. Time doesn’t show unless you press the button. Another single press displays the date and seconds while a long press will initiate configuration. Good for kids and teens.
Pros:
• The strap doesn’t have a bad smell.
• Dial case is covered with plastic to protect it from scratch.

Cons:
• Received a watch with a defect in the light.
• The size and the color of LED light make it look less elegant.
• The strap is very hard to fasten.
• You have to press the button hard.
• You have to wait 2 seconds before time appears.
• The seller used spammy keywords that say it is touchscreen and waterproof.

I want the style but not specifically this exact design. I don’t like the LED light and the kind of strap used.
Hopefully next time I could buy a fitness tracker smartwatch that records steps and calories, monitors the quality and time of sleep, and have an anti-lost feature which looks like this.

Kids Synoke Black Digital Watch
I chose black even if white is my favorite. You have to clean a white strap daily especially those made with resin or silicone with a mild soap and after every heavy sweating. You should choose a darker shade unless there’s finally an elastic strap that repels dirt and doesn't react easily with sweat. Just imagine how dirty the bands stay throughout the months and years. With a white watch, it will only take you a matter of few months before you have to buy a replacement for either the straps or the whole watch.

It features a backlight and displays seconds, date and days of the week. It has an alarm clock, stopwatch and hourly chimer. Instruction is available in Chinese and English. There isn’t a noticeable wrong grammar in the English translation. The back of the strap is textured so it could have a better grip in the skin. The strap is smooth and made of PU. Fingerprints can be seen in the straps. It may be smaller compared to bulky G-Shock watches but it is still big to precisely fit a female wrist. It seems that the design is unisex. I like it better if the dial case is smaller so it would look more elegant and can be worn professionally. It is presented as a kids watch in Shopee. It looks nice in side view but the front view looks mature for a kid.

• It doesn’t smell bad.
• Glass is covered with plastic to protect from scratch
Cons:
• When used underwater, you should not use the buttons. That means you cannot also use the light function underwater.

I chose this color so it will not appear flashy and too eye catching. My sister will be a teen soon so I need something that will look more feminine and can be worn for all occasion. Our City is currently celebrating its fiesta where stalls selling different merchandise have sprouted. We call it baratilyo. I saw some watches being sold that costs 100-200php but the choices are very limited.
Seeing this the first time, I was disappointed in its bulkiness but it fits just fine in my thin wrist. The size of my sister’s wrist and mine doesn’t differ that much so this did fit her well too.
According to the manual, it can bear splashing water or rain but warns the owner to not immerse it in the water. The watch band is made of resin and may age quickly, crack or break if exposed with sweat and dampness. You can view the time at night because it has a cold night button. Instruction is available in Chinese and English. You can view AM or PM, the day of the week, and the month. It has an alarm and hourly chime function. It also has a stopwatch and sleepy function that I'm not familiar with.
Pros:
• Pretty and fits well. Good for teens.
• It doesn’t look cheap, well made.
• Glass is covered with plastic to protect from scratch

• It has a plastic scent.

I still want to own a digital watch because it’s easier to read and less prone to reading mistakes but there isn’t a lot of digital watch created for adults now except the bulky ones or the fitness smartwatch. Some people may argue with why to still use a watch when there’s already a phone. I already cannot count how many phones I have lost in the past. Having a watch would mean I don’t have to repeatedly grab my phone and accidentally misplace it.
