Sites for Polymer Clay

My researches about polymer clay art send me to the pinnacle of great ecstasy. Just for now, I know and I’m riding. Let's see how far it would take me. So far, these are some interesting, informative or helpful sites for polymer clay art for me:

Kageshoujo [Link Here]
Good thing I came across in this blog. Great topics regarding polymer clay. Long and detailed and very helpful. Just check the 'top posts and pages' to find the topic about polymer clays. My rate 4.5/5.

Deovir Art Supplies - Wall | Facebook [Link Here]
- When I went to SM Baguio last time and explored stores one by one, I can’t remember encountering this place. Next time I will go to Baguio, I’ll look for this.

Pinay Crafter (not updated) [Link Here]
- An unfinished tumbler about polymer clay art.  Although it has only few and basic information, I find the information helpful for starters and quite entertaining. I like the way she mentions prices and alternative places to buy cheaper materials.

So Craftastic [Link Here]
- One of the youtube channel I am subscribing but I haven’t watched all the videos. It caters different crafts not only polymer clay art. It has the most of likes compared to other polymer clay tutorials. It seems the vlogger is a full pledge hobbyist.

Polymer Clay Tutor [Link Here]
-This youtube channel has a lesser likes compared to So Craftastic. Still I like some of the videos because of new clay techniques and tips I learned. The presentation is nice. Video is clear. However, I find some videos that are too lengthy and some not too informative at all. Nonetheless, I’m subscribing.

I know these are only few of sites I went. I will continue to update this blog post as long as I found a site I like.

Game of Thrones Quotes

*picture not mine
Here are my some of favorite quotes in the series Game of Thrones. Some are just phrases but for me is quite unforgettable.

I followed you into war twice, without doubts, without second thoughts. But I will now follow you now.. The Robert I grew up with didn't tremble at the shadow of an unborn child.

I thought you were a better man

Family, Duty and Rights

The seed is strong

What is bigger? 1 or five...everybody wants something different

I felt something for you once you know...

A Lannister always pays his debts

Tell her I wish to confess my crimes

Gold win wars not soldiers

And only by admitting what we are, can we get what we want.

Love is the death of duty

More to follow...
In my opinion, the movie did well. I'm still contemplating whether which on is better, the book or the movie. So far, I think it's the movie. Those phrases above has more impact in the series while the book has some lacking in driving someone's emotions. Despite the nudity in the movie, I find it more wholesome than in the books, it's just an art and a part of it, though I believe it can stand without it (this makes it not a good movie for children). It's war and it's just being real. There's a tint of hostility, but there's something in the story that makes us watch it still.

Searching Oven for Polymer Clay

I’ve gotten busy recently. Sort of adjusting in new work, I mean just the task. I even had no time for my programming again. Sigh. I am trying to be careful too. And yes I am so unorganized… a little bit of blue strikes me on those ill-favored times.

But here’s something that raises my spirit, Polymer Clay Art. No, I'm not yet making...

I saw ovens ranging from P800-P1200 in my first oven window shopping. And so, I did set my target price there. However, this second attempt, I stumble into this oven thermometer and Kyowa convection oven. I get acquainted with some I believe fundamental information about ovens. I even realized how little I know about ovens

Oven thermometer = P240
Kyowa convectional oven – P2500.

What is convection anyway?
Physics. the transfer of heat by the circulation or movement of the heated parts of a liquid or gas. [1]

The staff assisted me, and explained some of the oven they have. He said that I can do multiple things with convection oven such as baking and stuff I cannot remember while I can only toast in toaster oven. I also learned about the top, bottom and rear grill elements. I’m so naïve right? During that time, I felt like my only choice was to buy that Kyowa convection oven. But after doing some internet research, maybe I would just stick in a simple toaster oven and sort of buy a cheap but known brand. Besides, I am only a beginner and buying an expensive convection oven feels so unpractical especially the one I will be buying in the future would be clay dedicated only.

I don't have a photographic memory yet if my memory doesn't fail me, this is how the oven looks like, particularly the one that I have just saw.

Upon your search in oven, you might stumble with Rotisserie. Rotisserie is a style of roasting where meat is skewered on a spit - a long solid rod used to hold food while it is being cooked over a fire in a fireplace or over a campfire, or roasted in an oven. [2] If I'm not mistaken, it's the horizontal steel at the center of the oven.

Thing Learned?
I didn’t know at first that there are different kinds of ovens. But I have already felt and noticed those differences before, I just didn’t mind. Research :)

Because I don’t have a Polymer Clay

I just wanted to know the “feel”… so I bought a very very cheap clay. This is what you call “working with the product” instead of the “the product works for you”. After this, I still wanted to know how it feels to use polymer clay… because this is not a polymer clay art :)

My feeble attempt in imitating the girl in candy crash…
It’s hard to use this clay.
