Iwhite Aqua Moisturizing Cream (Review)

I always have a stock of Iwhite peeling masks (both the nose and face mask). It didn't cross my mind to use their moisturizer though due to my oily face. Some products are not just meant for me. To still insist is very silly. The thing is, I missed the part of it's being “water-based”. It learned and finally took notice of it through other blog post.

I still use moisturizer sparingly. It's not for everyday routine. I wait for my facial skin to show signs that it needed moisturization. The frequent changes of climate in this country changes the condition and needs of my skin too. I skip using this with cleansers that makes the face feel already moisturized but not for cleansers that gives squeaky clean and dry skin after.

Aqua Moisturizing Cream Sachet

Aqua Moisturizing Cream
  • The scent of cream is similar with their peeling masks.
  • It's a cream that feels close to being a gel. It's also like a serum for having 4 additional natural ingredients.

Pros:
Water-based.
A little goes a long way.
It moisturizes without a greasy feel.
It's a lightweight cream.
No break outs.
Widely available.
It doesn't pose problem when the skin starts to sweat.

Cons:
If a larger amount is used, it can feel quite heavy in the face.
The expiration date is hard to find in the sachet.
It doesn't absorb as fast as Myra E but doesn't linger long.
Bio-Nanotechnology is a term that I am not well familiar as well as how it works in this product.

Cream and Swatch

The cream glides smoothly, but there are occasions that the cream build up in small part of the skin. Good thing is that I still was able to see those areas. I remove the excess cream then and make sure that everything is evenly distributed. The cooling sensation is not easily felt unless if the product really has strong cooling properties. I was not able to witness a more radiant and fairer complexion within the short span of usage.

They should change the design of their tubes too so it will go well with the designs of their sachets. Sometimes it's as if the two are different from each other. The tube is very plain but the sachet is too colorful.

Recommend?
I will recommend this if you are in need of a very light cream and if you don't have allergies in the natural ingredients included. If the hidden properties of those natural ingredients appeals to you, then that's great!

Repurchase?
No. This product works just fine but I'm not really going to replace my old brand. The simplicity of Myra E still weighs more to me. Nonetheless, it's good to find a water-based product that typically suits oily face.

  1. During the first two weeks of use, there had been no problem at all. At first I swear that I like the finish and everything, but when I used it for a longer period of time, I noticed that it gave me breakouts so eventually, I stopped using it. I don't know if it's just because of the stress from school works or I'm just allergic to one of their natural ingredients lang. Still, I'm glad that it didn't cause you breakouts!

    1. Hey thanks for sharing your experience Hanna. I seldom use creams in my face, and I didn't repurchase this. I'm a long time user of their peel off mask though, and I haven't experience breakouts with that. I was actually using the mask to help heal my breakouts.
