Zenutrients Softening Argan Hand & Body Lotion Review
Just after my VIP subscription ended, this line of Zenutrients appeared. I wanted to have the soap too but my regular points is not enough. This is the first single purchase I did in Sample Room. I paid P140 just to have this. The color of the bottle is unique and has a strong nature feel on it. The Argan oil felt like it promises a dreamily moisturizing experience.
When I tried this for the first time, it's very different from what I thought it will be. It's not the kind that you slather at night to deeply moisturize your skin since it's best suited for a day use. It won't trigger sweat even if you are doing heavy activities. The lack of SPF makes it not good to use under the direct heat of sunlight. Not a problem since I'm not always into SPF products, I just make sure to avoid the sun.

Myra Hand & Body Lotion Review
I’ve run out of lotion so it means that buying what’s only available in the department store and drugstore from our remote province is the left choice. But honestly, I just haven’t found my HG lotion yet. That makes it hard to decide which lotion to stock and hoard.
This is my 2nd or 3rd purchase of Myra E lotion yet it’s only now that I made a review of this. It’s more of giving this a second chance since I was not impressed with my first use. Though I still have faith that it can work just fine considering how bad the state of my skin 2 years ago compared to an improved state now. I bought this because it’s simple and perhaps plainer than other common brands.

5th Avenue Moisturizing Body Lotion Review
There is no extra or new claims. Fifth avenue just works fine for a dry skin. It's a straightforward lotion with a scent that lasts the whole day. It's okay for every day use but it doesn't have SPF.
It works well with my body chemistry and blends well with my sweat. Even if it last long, the strong scent becomes subtle once you perspire. I like this than using the perfume alone. It's like wearing the real perfume. It's a good coincidence that the scent is just okay to me compared to the other highly fragrance lotions I encountered before.

Jergens Soothing Aloe Lotion Review
Among the available variants of
Jergens in sample room, I chose this lotion because of the word
“soothing” and “aloe” from the bottle. I also presume it
to be the safest pick and hopefully not their heaviest product.
Whenever a balikbayan box arrives with a Jergens pasalubong in
it, I let the other family member use them and just buy a
different brand for myself. I did use their lotion naman during those
early teen days where my skin started to demand some hydration. I
only stopped because the heaviness becomes apparent in my skin and it stresses the hairs in my arms.Thursday, June 19, 2014
Avon Skin so Soft Body Lotion with Argan Oil Review
“Silky moisture”
“Ultra moisturizing body lotion”
I’m not a fan of Avon lotion but they have some products I love to use. When I think about of Avon, it reminds me of brassiere, deodorants, lovely umbrellas, their magazines and those old sweet tasting lip balms before. The pink strawberry one. :)
This lotion was given to me by mom, which was also just given to her. The tiny +argan word was labeled in the front bottom of the bottle. This essential oil not very familiar to me. I only used it as my spare lotion in work.

Watsons Hand Cream Haul
I have some wish list though:
1. A lips scrub to remove dead skin or lighten my lips. There's no product I know yet. I wanted to try honey. Or maybe a brown sugar and lime instead of lemon. I can't get the best of light pink lipstick due to my dark lips.
2. Blush or Darker powder. I want to learn and make an illusion of a longer and slimmer face.
So I have a few haul here. Nagtitipid pa din. Yup, I still went to Watsons to accompany a friend. I find myself lucky for finding a hand cream since I didn’t on my last visit.
1. BAIES SUCREES Sweet Berries Hand Cream
P32.00 for 30 ml
Buy one take one. This is my favorite hand cream so far. It's not greasy and it’s enough to make and keep my hand hydrated.
2. Naturals by watsons Olive Hand Cream (Review Here)
P99.00 for 60 ml
Claims to be organic. I'll make a review later. It also has a grape seed oil, Shea butter and Vitamin E.

Vaseline Aloe Fresh Review
I need to rewrite again since my draft got corrupted in my tablet
after saving it on the external micro SD card. So to be safe, I’ll no longer save unless
it's internal.
This is my first review on lotions, and my first purchase of
Vaseline in a bottle. Last time I bought one was way back high school and a sachet
variant. I didn’t like the smell back then; it reminds me of medicines as well as
plastic.
What I have here is Vaseline
Aloe fresh, total moisture. A 24 hour nourishing lotion for fresh and light
feeling skin. I just saw this one from a blogger and said to myself that it will
not hurt to try. Besides, I’m getting bored using the same Silka lotion while wondering if that's really makes me fairer.
Aloe Vera
Our grandma has stories about herbs and plants, and this is just
one of the unforgettable. Maybe I had tried putting it on my face for reasons I
can’t remember (courisity maybe). However, if there's something aloe vera is famous
of, it is its ability to thicken hair. Something helpful for hairloss sufferers,
but that's only a story from lola.
Imagine putting the lotion
on your legs and arms... and your hair will grow longer,... and for those who shave
their legs, imagine the effect it would bring.
Vaseline Lotion claims that it's:
-hydrating
-absorbs quickly
-glowing skin
-24 hr nourishing
-light feeling skin
Price:
The Cap
If you're bag tends to be messy, it 'might' open accidentally and
lotions will be all over your things. I'm partly having a hard time taking the lotion
out.
Best before 30 months from manufacturing date. Unfortunately,
I cannot find the manufacturing date except the 7 digit code at the bottom
of the bottle. 1303132. But I can't figure out how to read that code so maybe I’d
just guess. March 13, 2013 and 2 years.
Deep down layers of skin*... and there’s an asterisk below which is "Stratum corneum." Wikipedia says that: The stratum corneum is the outermost layer of the epidermis, consisting of dead cells (corneocytes) that lack nuclei and organelles.
Ingredients
There is Methylparaben and Propylparaben included in the ingredients. I’m not a chemist but I wish to be informed about parabens. Parabens are said to have been found in the breast of cancer patients. I also purchased a Myra E lotion and it’s fascinating to know that it doesn’t have a paraben on it, but I don’t like that lotion. I encourage you to read articles in Wikipedia and other sites about Methylparaben and Propylparaben and become a conscious and responsible buyer.

Likes:
-I like the smell
-I like the color of the bottle. It attracts me.
Dislikes:
-I am in an air-conditioned room during work days and I usually
feel my skin dry.
-It has no spf (but I’m pondering these days if I really need
one)
-Costs more than the Silka Lotion
-A bottle doesn’t last long because I use it frequently
Rate:
4.5 / 5.0
-because Silka is cheaper
Repurchase?
I thought of “No” last time but I found myself buying my
next bottle. I like how it feels so light on my skin even I reapply it many times.
I wish to find another alternative lotion that is light in the skin. Cold and hydrating.
