There is a prophecy that the end of the world will start in
the Philippines, particularly in Pangasinan. That’s a rumor that I heard. Then
there is this “flesh eating bacteria” on the news. I don’t claim I have seen
the news nor know the person who made this prophecy. Pangasinan is our neighbor
province. I had a dream last month that the end of the world is on February
2014. Or is this the start of the end? Winter is coming?

Standing Position in the BUS?
My choice of title seemed odd. I am trying to come up with a
new title but none I find suitable enough to replace it. It was a joke came
true and an end of avoidance. Fate won’t spare me to this hilarious experience of
standing in the bus as I wait my destination. Nonetheless, it didn’t come to
the point that I stand the rest of my travel. (I feared though. I believe I don’t
have to stand when I knew my destination is just nearby.)
I’ve always gotten curious with us Filipinos, our present
traits and culture is reflected in our typical transactions and everyday
dealings. I love to observe common folks. At times, I get concern that the once
good distinction to us Filipinos will only become a part our country’s history.
A valued practice that heads into a brink of extinction. No more for care but
competition and selfish practicality or even greed.
I was standing
I shouldn’t be standing. There was still an available sit,
the last one. But unluckily, this girl behind me was called by some fortunate acquaintance
to sit there. It left me a bad feeling. I was going to go out but the bus started
and I was even at the back. Worst, the bus went to another stop over and loaded
a lot of individuals.
My point
-I wish those “just because we are acquaintances attitude”
would not be practiced anymore. A line should be respected. (There’s no line actually)
-The bus sardines. Are we lacking of bus? If yes, isn’t that
a business opportunity? Sigh. There’s a lot of opportunity in our country but
we Filipinos likes working for other people instead of creating one. We can be
resourceful. No wonder we are left behind. And if there is an accident along
the way? Isn’t it a lot of bus recently has gotten into a lot of accidents?
I hope we don’t forget to say “thank you” or “please” to the
random kindness given to us by strangers we meet along the road or even in bus.
Those words, short as it may seem, will give encouragement or may become
imitated by fortunate observers.
There are a lot of same stories, some I haven’t included in
this story but someday I might share.
My Sun and Stars
This is a lonely world. But a friend is enough.
The warmth welcome is a kindness.
That’s why I like you, because I believe you are kind.
A man who doesn’t
just display false kindness
For you treats everyone with kindness.
Coz you are, I know, the sweetest person,
Even if you don’t show it.
I see you… My soul sees you.
I just wanted to say,
That you are appreciated.
You are the light that makes my day,
Brightening every corners everyday.
This is actually a
paragraph. I just arranged it this way.
Love and Relationship
When you build a relationship, maintain it... Both should agree
with the level of attention they will give and receive. It is a
lifetime commitment. Take it or leave it, there is no middle ground.
Else, find yourself in a unsuccessful relationship.
Time
It is a common relationship stressor. Bear in mind that the other person sacrifices time too. Sometimes, giving time during our chosen convenient time makes it more heavier favor or sacrifice for our partner. Sometimes its not even counted as special. It takes a lot of seeing to know what your partner really feels.
“In all relationship, time and energy is a must”
so does in friendship
Partners must have a clear guidelines to protect their friendship.
Danger Zone
-When one becomes busy to spend at least one relaxed and free day with the partner
-Become more sensitive criticism, get defensive easily
-Become more competitive and less cooperative.
-Neglect
A lot of love, understanding and open communication are needed to make our love ones secure.

What to Consider When Buying a Polymer Clay Oven?
Yes, I haven't moved on yet. Below you will see a lot of my self
answered questions.
1. Is the warranty worth it?
Start worrying on warranty if your oven is expensive, but if it's cheap, why bother? It could be a hassle if you will spend more in processing the warranty than buying a new one. Ask for the length of replacement when buying. Start testing the oven you bought to detect damages early. Check if the warranty is included or you have to buy it separately.
Ask where the service center is located. Remember that due to some advancement in technology, some appliances are harder to fix.
I find a good article to read:
6 things to know about warranties [Link Here]
2. Toaster Temperature
Since toaster oven is smaller, it heats up faster. The warming temperature of toaster oven is 130F while the regular oven starts with 200F. Both reach at 500F or 260 in celcius
3. Why do I have to preheat?
You need to preheat to get the desired outcome of the clay. The clay may start to cook outside which you would not like to happen. We are baking the clay, not toasting it. But sometimes I wonder, it's only a clay, you'll not really going to eat it. What you want to achieve is that every part of the clay is balance cooked.
Different oven takes a different time to heat up. Different temperature comes with different chemical reaction.
4. Does watts matter in buying an oven?
Toaster oven range from 800 to 1200 watts. It is said that “higher wattage ovens cook faster than lower wattage ovens” but hardly did I find an explanation over this.
Watts means more heat. If you're toaster oven is smaller, chances is it has a lower watts. If the watts is higher, the energy consumption is bigger. So decide whether you really need a big oven for your project or the smaller one.
When you use a convection oven, you will have a lesser baking time. But there are different kinds of oven. How would you take advantage in this lesser time capability when the label on your polymer clays says that you cook it in 30 minutes and maybe referring to a regular oven. If it's a food, just taste it, but if its polymer clay would you dare eat it to know? Just kidding. Polymer is not something to eat.
Perhaps you have to know how to estimate or the equivalent time for convection oven.
You have to find a better insulated oven.
Technically, it's really hard to predict which is the most efficient. We have different brands in the market and each has different features and level of quality and architecture.
Toaster Oven has a lesser watts and enough lesser heat that compliments its small size but might have a poorer insulation and has slower speed in cooking.
Convention Oven has bigger watts but has better insulation and faster to cook yet consumes higher electricity.
So you'll end up choosing whether what's important to you, the initial purchase price or the speed of cooking. Or maybe just the size right?

5. Why higher wattage cook faster?
It's hard to find an article about this but perhaps it's due to heat. But remember, it still depends on the architecture of the oven. Are you planning to cook big time that you need a lot of heat? Or just bake a few?

Ms Access: Change One to One Relationship to One to Many
Yes. I’m doing minor programming using MS Access. I want to
continue Android Programming but I
am behind the lesson already. It’s intimidating
when you are just starting in a new P.L. It would be better to learn the basic
with someone nearby you can brainstorm with. :( It’s hard you now. I need a
study partner whose patient. Where can I find one? And most of all, I need a “stable
internet connection”. I have none.
Why this?
Because this is the IDE I had the last experience. Maybe the
easiest but powerful one once I learn the full potential of this. It’s the easiest to start
with. But it’s not as famous as what I wish to know like Android, Web
programming and VB.net.
Enough about the story above. So I have here a problem I
believe the first time I encountered. I don’t know how CTOavail_id from table CTOavail
will create a ‘one to many relationship’ with the two CTOavail_id from tables CTOout
and CTOin. I did different ‘maybe
this will work stuff’ like restarting the ms access, deleting and recreating
relationship and so on. Finally I found a simple solution. So simple I feel
like a fool
.
Solution:
Go to the CTOin_id
table design view and look for ‘Indexed’ from the ‘Field Properties’ and
change it from ‘Yes (No Duplicates)’
to ‘Yes (Duplicates OK)’. Then go
back to Relationships tab and recreate the relationship. Easy done.
