Gluta-C Intense Whitening Underarm & Bikini Gel Review

Gluta-C Intense Whitening Underarm & Bikini Gel Review

Don't wait until you need to wear a bikini to realize you need to lighten some areas below the waist. It's just an unsightly thing to display in a crowd. What more if you'll join a rare pageant or was invited for an event that include dipping in a swimming pool? Don’t embarrass yourself and start to even out those dark spots. If you're already using a whitening soap, why not concentrate on those areas every time you wash?

This product is in gel form and has a tolerable scent that reminds me of alcohol or antiperspirant. It’s light but there’s a need to wait for a while for the skin to absorb it. It didn’t give me skin irritation so far. Some ingredients such as talc are believed to cause ovarian cancer but Gluta-C Intense Whitening Gel claims safe to use though I wonder to what extent.

Part of the Body with Dark Areas

Price: P 199.75 for 20ml

Whitening skin is not entirely for vanity sake if its goal is to even the complexion. It is more beautiful to see a healthy and supple skin than a light but dull and thin skin.

Intense is a misleading word in this product. A tube only last for 1 and ½ month and perhaps lesser than a month if you used it on every part it claims to whiten. The effect is only minimal. The dark area shrunk a little but the shade is still the same (if you use a flash in taking pictures).  In natural light and whenever the skin is dry, it seems the area became whiter than before.

Effect of Gluta C

Hair growth.

Due to the Gluta C’s small size, I haven’t used it on my underarm. I cannot vouch for its ability to delay hair growth. Other reviews also tell that it can smoothen the texture of the armpit.

Rate:   4/5

The skin is whiter only when it is dry. When it is damp, the dark areas are still obvious. It seems that the effectiveness is more apparent when it comes to the outer layer of the skin. Should I repurchase? It’s a mix feeling of yes and no. It is somehow effective in a mild way but I find the price expensive for a 20ml that doesn’t totally whiten the skin.

To help whiten the skin, we also need to moisturize it. Yes if you won’t mind the price and you’re okay with the slow progress. They say that safer products are really expensive compared to conventional.

For a whiter skin: Exfoliate and always moisturize it!

What whitening product do you use?

  1. I have never heard of whitening the underarm, but I'm so intrigued! Thank you for the review.

    1. I think when it comes to underarm it's common. However when it comes to whitening inner thigh and bikini, this is my first time to encounter such product ^_^

  2. Na-try ko na to dati.. i must say waley ang effect nya .... At first pag nilagay mo sa dark area ng body mo, kala mo ngllighten pero in the long run ganun padin. I agree with you, dapat talaga mag exfoliate ng body at least 2-3 times a week.Ako kasi i'm using A Bonne Milk Salt Scrub 40 pesos lang. Okay na dn pang exfoliate. Sa under arm ko nga tawas lang gamit ko...haha... I got tired na kasi of using deodorant or roll ons. Some kasi may cause it to darken pa. Masasabe ko lang kung talagang gusto magwhiten ung dark problematic areas like UA and Bikini area derma lang talaga. Laser treatment for the UA...

I must say I just wasted my 200 bucks on this product.

    1. Sa mga areas lang na hindi nasisikatan ng araw effective ito, but it's not permanent. Continuous usage kasi ito. Gusto ko pa sana kaso ayaw ko masyado gumastos pero baka I will still buy if my occassion na alam kong maeexpose ako. Continuous din naman kasi yung reason ng nagpapaitim like "friction", "sweating" and "hormones". Yun lang if I will use this it should be 1 or 2 months before that occassion. And yes it's pricey kaya ayaw ko muna bumili :D... Gusto ko rin itry yung Bonne Milk Salt Scrub but I can't find a smaller pack dito sa area namin.
